The solid sheath of this black elastic rope is extremely resistant to abrasion (i.e., wear caused by friction or repeated contact with rough surfaces), giving it a longer lifespan. The sheath is made of 650 denier PE monofilament, offering high abrasion resistance (ISO 12947-2 tested - Over 4000 cycles before first signs of deterioration). You can be assured that this elastic cord will remain in excellent condition even under intensive use conditions.

Highly UV resistant

Thanks to the polyethylene (PE) composition of its outer sheath and high-quality colorants, this black elastic rope is not only rot-proof and hydrophobic, but its black color will maintain through time. The core of this black elastic cord consists of multiple rubber strands. When cut, the rope tends to separate, which can make it more difficult to thread through eyelets or install on hooks. Additionally, the polyethylene sheath is more rigid, making the product more difficult to handle and tie. This product therefore requires more attention and manipulation.
