A white guide post for light walls
In an art gallery or a white cube, the walls, floor and light make up a calm whole that the slightest dark object disturbs. The white guide post, in RAL 9003, takes up the shade of the walls: set in front of a partition, it is barely noticeable, and the eye stays on the work. With a 25 mm tube and a round base, the silhouette is deliberately slim.
A silhouette that fades away
This 90 cm white post comes up to waist height. The 6 mm elastic cord, stretched between two posts, draws the boundary without turning it into a solid mass. The visitor notices the instruction, not the furniture. It suits a scenography that seeks neutrality: a gallery room, a temporary exhibition, a space for displaying design objects.
Movable, no drilling
The round base is weighted and fitted with rubber feet: it sits on light parquet, polished concrete or a smooth floor without marking it and without any fixing. You move the post from one hang to the next to redo the route. On a very smooth floor, bring the posts closer to 1.50 m; elsewhere, 2 to 2.50 m is enough.
Pairing the cord and the end of the line
A cord in the colour of the venue
The cord is ordered separately and fixed at the top of the post with an Allen key. A white polyethylene elastic cord carries on the disappearing effect, while a coloured cord turns the line into a graphic feature. Cut it slightly shorter than the gap between two posts so that it stays taut.
An end that meets the wall
A row of posts is better finished against the wall. The white wall mount bracket takes the end of the cord and stays invisible on a light wall. The same post is also available in a black version, better suited to dark rooms.
When to choose white
Choose it if your walls, plinths and floors are light and the scenography is aiming for a pared-back look. If your rooms are wood-panelled or painted a dark colour, black stays more legible. To protect an artwork or an object placed low, look instead at the white low guide post, 45 cm.
